Terms for using Flo
These terms are an agreement between you and JustJoshin LLC ("we", "us") covering the Flo Forecast app and the floapp.app and floforecast.com websites (together, "Flo"). By creating an account or using Flo you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Flo.
What Flo is, and isn't
Flo is a personal cash-flow forecasting tool. It shows projections based on the bills, income, and bank activity you provide or connect. Projections are estimates and can be wrong — a bill can post early, a paycheck late, an amount can differ. Flo is not financial, legal, or tax advice, and we're not a bank, broker, or adviser. Decisions about your money are yours; check your bank before you rely on a number.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Keep your login secure and tell us right away at support@floapp.app if you think someone else has used it. You're responsible for activity under your account. One person per account.
Bank connections
Linking a bank is optional and goes through Plaid. By linking, you authorize Plaid to retrieve balance and transaction information from your financial institution and share it with us, and you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. Flo's access is read-only; we can't move money. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.
Acceptable use
Don't use Flo to break the law, access accounts that aren't yours, probe or overload our systems, reverse-engineer the app, or resell it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Paid plans
Some features may require a subscription purchased through Apple. Prices are shown before you buy; subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID settings, and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. Features and prices can change; we'll give notice before any change affects an active subscription.
Your data
You own what you enter and what's imported from your bank. You give us a license to store and process it only to run Flo for you. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how you can delete it.
Availability and changes
We'll do our best to keep Flo running, but it's provided "as is" and "as available". We may change or discontinue features, and we may end the service with reasonable notice. Bank data depends on your institution and Plaid, which we don't control.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, JustJoshin LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from decisions you make based on Flo's projections. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina. Before either of us starts a formal dispute, we agree to try to resolve it by email first. Any dispute that can't be resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Greenville County, South Carolina.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll show a notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Flo after that means you accept the updated terms.
